OREANDA-NEWS. May 2, 2007. The Parliament of the Greece Republic ratified the Agreement on cooperation at construction of Burgas-Aleksandroupolis oil pipeline between governments of Russia, Bulgaria and Greece.
 According to source in Greece Parliament, deputies of ruling right centrist party “New democracy” and lead opposition party “all-Geek Socialists Movement” voted for the document. Parliamentarians from the Communist party and small opposition coalition of left forces, movements and ecological party voted against the document.
Speaking before parliamentarians Dimitris Siufas, Development Minister of Greece, underlined that the Agreement on Burgas-Aleksandroupolis oil pipeline “ changed Greece into power center in region”. According to Siufas, the Agreement became “ joint results of activity of Ministries of development and foreign affairs of Greece which continues efforts of the previous Greek government”
