Neftepolis Insurance Company Holds Annual General Meeting and Meeting of the Board of Directors
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 26, 2007 Neftepolis Insurance Company, LLC, which is part of the SOGAZ Insurance Group, held its AnnualGeneral Meeting, which discussed the following issues:
Approval of the Company’s 2006 Annual Report andBalance Sheet;
Appointment of the Company’s Auditor;
Election of the Company’s Board of Directors, reported the press-centre of SOGAZ.
Participants in the meeting approvedthe Company’s 2006 Annual Report and Balance Sheet. CJSC PricewaterhauseCoopers Audit was appointed the Company’s auditor.

After the Annual General Meeting, the Neftepolis Board of Directors held ameeting. Vadim Eduardovich Yanov, Chairman of the SOGAZ Management Board, was elected Chairman of the Neftepolis Board of Directors. SergeiNikolayevich Maksimov was appointed General Director of the Neftepolis Insurance Company. The Boardof Directors noted Yevgeny Grigorievich Derevenskov’s great contribution to Neftepolis development. It is expectedthat Mr. Derevenskov, who until recently was General Director of the Neftepolis Insurance Company, will soon receivea new appointment with SOGAZ InsuranceGroup.
Sergey Nikolayevich Maksimov, born in 1955 in Moscow, graduated fromMoscow Food Industry Technological Institute as Mechanical Engineer. Maksimov’scareer in the insurance business began in 1993, when he joined OJSC TranssibirskayaPerestrakhovochnaya Korporatsiya [Trans-SiberianReinsurance Corporation]. In 1996-2000, he worked for MoskovskoyePerestrakhovochnoye Obshchestvo Ltd [Moscow Reinsurance Company].
Maksimov has been with Neftepolis Insurance Company since 2000; in 2001 he wasappointed Deputy General Director of the company.
The Neftepolis Insurance Company wasfounded in 1999. The company’s authorized capital is 350 million rubles. Thecompany holds licenses for 84 types of insurance activities and B+ rating awardedby Standard & Poor`s (ruA+ rating according to Russia’s national rating scale), outlookstable. In 2005, the Neftepolis Insurance Company joined the SOGAZ Insurance Group.
The SOGAZ InsuranceGroup comprises the following companies: OJSC SOGAZ, NeftepolisInsurance Company Ltd, OJSC Gazprommedstrakh, SOGAZ-lifeInsurance Company Ltd, the managementcompany CJSC Leader, and themedical services company Gazprommedservice Ltd.
