Moody’s Investors Service raised the foreign currency deposit rating on Alfa-Bank to Ba1 from Ba2 as part of the application of its refined joint default analysis (JDA) and updated bank financial strength rating (BFSR) methodologies. Alfa-Bank financial strength rating was upgraded to D+ from D. The foreign currency senior unsecured debt rating was upgraded to Ba1 from Ba2. The foreign currency subordinated debt rating was raised to Ba2 from Ba3. The outlook on all of the Bank’s ratings is stable.
