OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2007.  In period of May 02-05, the Generation branch of OAO Novosibirskenergo held work-related competitions among the integrated teams of TPP. The participants of the event included 5 teams representing 4 Novosibirsk power plants and the Barabinsk TPP. The competitions consisted of 5 rounds to check the personnel for their knowledge of the standard technical documentation and work permit regulations, as well as their expertise in boiler mode control and immediate treatment. In addition, the participants exercised a response plan in case of inflammation. The best result was achieved by the team of TPP-5 which scored the maximum number of points. TPP-4 team was second best, and the bronze medal went to the TPP-3 team.

“Better professional qualification of the TPP operating personnel is the main achievement of the competition,” said Nikolay Gavenko, Chief Referee of the competitions and Director of Sibirenergotechnadzor Technical Center. “The workers of the stations got an opportunity to share their experience, communicate with the colleagues, and discuss their common challenges.”

This was the first time when the competitions of such type were held in Novosibirskenergo. Nevertheless, many participants gained high personal scores. As a result, the Best in Profession title was granted to the representatives of various specialties:

- V. Fidyk, TPP-4, Shift Supervisor;

- I. Trushin, TPP-5, Shift Supervisor of electrotechnical shop;

- K. Shangareyev, TPP-5, Turbine Operator;

- A. Dekhanov, TPP-4, Boiler Operator;

- N. Fomina, TPP-5, Shift Supervisor of chemical shop;

- A. Belov, TPP-4, Shift Supervisor for Thermal Automatic Control and Measurement of electro-technical shop;

- S. Chernikov, TPP-5, Shift Supervisor of boiler-and-turbine shop.

In July, TPP-4 team will be representing Novosibirskenergo at the regional competitions of Siberia among cross-linking stations (TPP-5 is a pre-cast station, therefore, the winning team will not participate in these competitions). We wish our team every success, and let them score a point, and perform with high professional achievements!
