According to VolgaTelecom’s Q107 RAS financial results, revenue amounted to Rub 6,02 bln (119,6% more than in Q106).  Revenue from telecom services totaled Rub 5,7 bln (up 119,1%), and sales profit stood at Rub 1,6 bln (up 113,2%), reported the press-centre of  VolgaTelecom.
The revenue breakdown primarily consists of local voice earnings, which accounted to Rub 2,7 bln (up 106%) or 45,8%.  Intrazonal revenue generated Rub 1,13 bln (up 168,8%) or 18,8% of revenue.  Earnings from interconnect and termination of traffic amounted to Rub 875,9 mln (108,6% higher) or 14,6% of revenue.  Revenue from high-tech services came to Rub 704,9 mln (147,3% higher), including Internet access for Rub 601,5 mln (146,9% higher).
Pre-tax profit rose to Rub 1,1 bln (up 100,5%).  VolgaTelecom’s Q107 net profit amounted to Rub 818,4 mln (+99,8%), and EBITDA came to Rub 2,2 bln (+104,9%).  Sales profit margin stood at 35,3%, pre-tax margin was 25,4% and net profit margin was 18,4%. EBITDA margin stood at 35,9%.
The company’s broadband Internet subscriber base rose 384% vs. Q106 and reached 148,250.  The share of revenue from Internet access in revenue increased 10% and was 1,9% higher than in Q106.
The number of main telephone lines rose by 3,258 compared with year-end 2006.
The average number of employees decreased 17,1% to 37,936.  The number of lines per employee during the reporting period rose to 132 (+124,3%).  Revenue per employee went up to 158,000 (+144,3%).  Revenue per line reached Rub 1,207.4 in Q107 (116,5%).  The cost of revenue per ruble was 0,74 kopeks.
