The vice governor of Nizhniy Novgorod region Viktor Klochay presented the plans to build an NPP in the region. He noted that safety will be the top priority of this project.

“This project will certainly increase our budget. We will try to actively involve local manufacturing companies and research institutes in this work starting from the design up to the construction and the production of necessary equipment. The bigger work they will do the bigger inflows we will get into our budget,” Klochay said.
