OREANDA-NEWS. When Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, visited Ashkhabad, the foundation stone of the educational trade-service complex of “KAMAZ” Inc was laid there, reported the press-centre of  KAMAZ.


Rashid Meredov - Deputy Chairman of the Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Naryshkin - Vice-Premier of the RF, Rustam Minnikhanov - Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Sergey Kogoghin - Director General of “KAMAZ” OJSC took part in the ceremony. Sergey Naryshkin noted that establishment of the “KAMAZ” educational trade-service complex (ETSC) proves that cooperation of two countries doesn’t limit itself to the fuel and energy sphere. A range of questions, which can be solved by the Russian and Turkmen enterprises and business owners, is much wider. According to Sergey Kogoghin, since last summer the well-known Russian auto giant has delivered to Turkmenistan over 1100 units of high quality technique used in the largest facilities of the country. Director General underlined that “KAMAZ” is very interested in its wider presence on the Turkmenistan market and deeper mutually beneficial partnership.


The “KAMAZ” ETSC, for which more than one and a half hectares are allotted, will be located in the developing industrial zone of the Turkmen capital - on the northern part of Neutral Turkmenistan Avenue - next to the similar service centers of the foreign trade marks “Caterpillar” and “Komatsu”. The complex will be built according to the modern project worked out in “KAMAZ” OJSC and in the single style corresponding to the look of the modern Ashkhabad. The ETSC is intended for complex service of 1000 KAMAZ vehicles per year. Besides delivery of technique and its full servicing, including diagnosing and capital repair, here will be organized education of Turkmen experts – repair men and drivers to be. The overall cost of the project is US $4-5 million.


Taking into account the large scale of the investment projects, highly dynamic development of the basic industries, demand of Turkmenistan for trucks, “KAMAZ” OJSC offers the Turkmen customers the whole range of trucks, high level of service and guaranteed supply of spare parts. During last year “KAMAZ” managed to drive out the main competitors from the Turkmen market in its “segments” and increase its market share in Turkmenistan from 15 to 89,1%.
