OREANDA-NEWS. Atomstroyexport CJSC and INTER RAO UES CJSC Signed a Memorandum on Cooperation in the Electric Power Sector in Moscow. The memorandum was signed by the president of ASE Sergey Shmatko and the director general of INTER RAO UES Yevgeny Dod, reported the press-centre of  Atomstroyexport.


The memorandum will allow the companies to intensify their activities for strengthening their strategic positions on target markets. The strategic partnership of the companies is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of their power plant construction projects. Atomstroyexport will be the general contractor of such projects. INTER RAO UES will sell the electricity produced by the constructed plants. The key directions of the cooperation will be drafting and implementing investment projects, securing funds for their joint projects by making long-term electricity sale contracts and exchanging information about the efficiency of the projects. Atomstroyexport is consistently implementing its strategy for forming alliances that would promote innovative NPP construction projects and for strengthening the positions of allied companies on Russian and international markets.
