OREANDA-NEWS. On May 14, 2007 the Federal Antimonopoly Service dismissed the petition of "Forpost-Management" CJSC on buying 49,85% voting shares of "Atomstroiexport" CJSC. Grounds for refusal: incomplete information presented to the antimonopoly service as well as lack of transparency of the company's ownership structure, reported the press-centre of  FAS Russia.

The antimonopoly service requires all companies applying for permission to complete transactions, to reveal the end beneficiaries. The above requirement is necessary to evaluate the impact of the transaction upon competition. Recently FAS Russia did not allow "Forpost-Management" CJSC, that had not disclosed its ownership, to consolidate 95% "Ob'edinenniye Mashinostroitel'niye Zavody [United Machine-Building Plants]. For the same reason FAS Russia dismissed the petitions of "Promregion Holding" that requested preliminary approval of buying the southern assets of "YUKOS" NK.
