Baltica To Extend its Rail Car Fleet
OREANDA-NEWS. The brewing company Baltica and Armavir Heavy Engineering Manufacture signed the agreement on 100 rail cars supplying, reports the press-service of the company.
It is planned that the rail cars will have been delivered to the Balica's manufacture in Saint-Petersburg by the end of May of the current year. At the present moment the company owns 1 500 universal covered rail cars.
It should be pointed out that the company uses mainly railway transport to organize its supplying of the integrated products. In 2006 the volume of products transported by its own covered rail cars totaled above 29 thousand units.
At the turn of the year 2006 Baltica bought 100 universal covered rail cars from the company Altaivagon.
According to the representative of the company, Baltica has a great need of rail cars, and it tries to satisfy the requirements quickly.
