Krasnoe Sormovo Closed Deal with Palmali
OREANDA-NEWS. The shipyard Krasnoe Sormovo closed the deal to build 2 tankers of the project 19619 for Palmali, reports the press-service of the shipyard.
The first tanker will be delivered to the customer in November 2007, the second one will have been built by November 2008. It should be pointed out that the contract for the building of the head tanker of the project was signed in March of the current year.
The vessel (class "river-sea") is meant for crude oil and oil products transportation. It is also possible to load some different sorts of oil products simultaneously.
The project of the tanker was worked out by Engineering Center of Maritime Oil and Gas Projects. Deadweight - above 13 thousand tons, length - 150 m., breadth - 17.30 m., hull height - 10.5 m., draught - 6.99 m., speed - 10 knots. Crew - 21 members.
