DOMOLINK: More than 170,000 Users
OREANDA-NEWS. June 4, 2007. The number of subscribers to CenterTelecom’s DOMOLINK branded broadband Internet access service based on ADSL 2+ technology exceeded 170,000 people in late May 2007.
To date, six regional divisions of CenterTelecom offer the service. In 2007 CenterTelecom plans to increase the DOMOLINK subscriber base by 260,000 users and to expand the geography of DOMOLINK project. Seven other divisions of the company will work on this project. DOMOLINK will be functioning in 15 regions in Central Russia. The company plans to launch interactive services using ADSL 2+ in future.
The DOMOLINK project is one of the company’s strategic priorities which include the implementation of new technologies, rendering of high quality telecommunications services for inhabitants of the Central Federal District of Russia, and also improvement of the company’s sales and maintenance system.
