OREANDA-NEWS. On May 29, 2007 in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) the Asian Media Summit (AMS) 2007 has opened. The purpose of АМS 2007 is attraction high level broadcasters, professionals in the field of the mass-media, the regulating organizations, and media of magnates in the field of the information and programs from more than 150 organizations of Asia, Oceania, Europe, Africa, the North America and the Near East on top-level media dialogue, reported the press-centre of  NTRC.

Today AMS is a place of a meeting of media professionals and broadcasters from all of the world for discussion of the main calls of time and acceptance of necessary decisions for achievement more mutual understanding in various situations. It is unique possibility for broadcasters and owners of mass-media in developed and developing countries from the East to the West, from the North to the South to gather and discuss the questions representing mutual interest.

Following questions are included in the summons of the first day Summit:

- Future of Public service Broadcasting
- Soap Operas and Reality TV Shows: New Forms and Formats
