OREANDA-NEWS. June 6, 2007. OJSC CenterTelecom has won a Federal Communications Agency tender for the right to provide universal telecommunications services through payphones in the Vladimir, Ryazan and Tambov regions.
 
According to the terms of the tender, by the end of 2007 CenterTelecom is to set up payphones providing universal communications services in five urban districts and 16 metropolitan regions of the Vladimir Region, as well as in four urban districts and 25 metropolitan regions of the Ryazan Region and in seven urban districts and 23 metropolitan regions of the Tambov Region. The tariff for local phone calls on the territory of the Vladimir, Ryazan and Tambov regions will be RUR 1.12 per minute.
 
Previously, CenterTelecom was acknowledged winner of tenders for the right to provide universal telecommunications services using payphones in the Belgorod, Tula, Smolensk, Tver, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Yaroslav, Moscow and Kaluga regions. In compliance with the terms of the tenders, CenterTelecom has already started operating in the Belgorod, Smolensk and Tula regional areas.
