Atom Innovation Center was the information partner of the conference “Reformation of RAO UES Russia: Impulse for Development of Electrotechnical Idustry of Russia” that was conducted by RAO UES Russia and EnergoMarket magazine at the Moscow International Trade Center on June 5 2007.

This year Rosatom and RAO UES have launched large-scale investment programs worth 1,5trl RUR and 3trl RUR, respectively. By 2011 Russia will have to launch 41,900 MW of new capacities in the traditional energy sector and by 2025 almost 40 GW of nuclear power capacities as well as relevant networks. The large-scale energy development program is shaping high demand for all types of electrical equipment: transformers, cables, secondary systems, switching equipment. The growing demand is stimulating the development of the electrotechnical industry and new technologies, is enlarging productions and creating new jobs.
