OREANDA-NEWS. Anna Chin-Go-pin was appointed head of the Strategic Communications Directorate at IES-Holding.

Anna Chin-Go-pin graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical University, Faculty of Foreign Languages, received training at the Surrey University (UK), and studied under the Branding programme at the Stockholm School of Economics. She took part in seminars and trainings in PR and strategic communications, internal corporate communications, and management.

Ms Chin-Go-pin started her career in 1990 at the marketing department of the Russian-British joint venture Comstar where she was involved in brand development and promotion and development of advertising campaigns for promoting Comstar products and services.

In 1993, she joined the Russian-American Investment Fund Sovcap and then moved to the Russian-American joint venture Rustel as deputy director for advertising and public relations. In this capacity, she was responsible for brand development and the promotion of the brand in Moscow and regions, development of integrated communication programmes for promoting the company's services in Moscow and regions (Tyumen, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, and Rostov).

In 1995, Anna came back to Comstar as head of the advertising and PR department. She was involved in developing comprehensive programmes for promoting the company's brand and services in various market segments. In 2001, she joined EDN Sovintel LLC as advertising and PR director. Her main tasks included the following: reposition the company to enter the new segment of small and medium business; develop comprehensive activities (marketing communications and PR) to promote the company's services in both the market of major corporate clients and the new segment of small and medium enterprises.

In 2003, after Golden Telecom purchased 100% of Sovintel, Ms Chin-Go-pin moved to the Golden Telecom of companies as director of the corporate communications and public relations department. The department was in charge of branding and integrated communications, including marketing communications, PR, and internal communications. Golden Telecom has operations in Russia (26 cities), Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
