OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2007.  The seminar –meeting, organized by the Grid Company of JSC "Tatenergo" was attended by heads of services of insulation and protection from over voltage of the grid entities of Tatarstan energy holding as well as leading specialists in the area from St. Petersburg, Perm, Snezhinsk. Tatarstan specialists shared expertise in diagnostics, conducted in JSC "Grid Company " branches. They include: diagnostics and testing the power transformers, high tension inputs, cable lines and other electrical equipment. Were summoned the results of another turn of commissioning the expert-diagnostic and information system of evaluation of oil-filled equipment "Albatros" and studied the current task for its operation.

The invited specialists talked about the innovations in the area of diagnostics of high tension facilities and answered many questions. Professor of St.Petersburg State Polytechnic University А.Е.Monastyrski reported on systems of monitoring the power transformer insulation. Under conditions of permanent aging of transformers the only way out will be the enhancing the diagnostics role and application of systems of non-stop control over high tension facilities, that are necessary on the powerful transformers of voltage 220-500 kV. Diagnostic complex SCIT (System of non-stop Control of Insulation of power Transformers pf high voltage), developed in Petersburg university, allows to produce in on-line the measuring the parameters of operation of transformers and exceed the foreign analogs.

Director of "Vibrotsentr", Ltd (.Perm) V.А.Rusov told in detail about products produced by his company. It should be said that Vibrotsentr today successfully competes regarding diagnostic facilities with foreign producers both domestically and internationally. Chief engineer of JSC NPO "Logoteh" (Snezhinsk) V.I.Yemelianov shared expertise of diagnostic of mechanical condition of support-stick insulators by MIC-1 (mobile indicator complex). This device produced in Snezhinsk, allows to do diagnostics without working voltage switching off. This is critical for power engineering specialists, as up to 70% breaks of high tension breakers are because of low quality of applied insulators. Factories- Producers often violate technology and this results in insulator breaks, and accidents. Problem was discussed and became the theme of the two circulars of RAO "UES Russia" "Prevention of breaks of support-stick insulator breakers 110-220 kV" #C9-04-97 (E) dd., 29.12.1997 and #C01-01 (E) dd., 14.05.2001.

The meeting allowed to familiarize with the latest developments of diagnostic facilities and gave new incentive for operation of services of insulation and protection from over voltage. Chief of SV& SS of JSC "GridCompany" D.F.Gubaev stressed the necessity of practical application of the stipulated techniques and said that in accordance with PTE requirements, the repair of high tension facilities shall be done according to technical condition. This would allow to last the facilities operation, and at long last to reduce the costs of their operation.
