OREANDA-NEWS. The refurbished Repin train Number 33/34 departed from St. Petersburg’s Finland Station on 20 June at 7:57 on its first international run from Oktober Railways as part of its service between St. Petersburg and Helsinki. Nearly 80% of the available tickets were sold. The train arrived in the Finnish capital at midday and departed on the return leg in the afternoon.

The train’s upgraded rolling stock meets all modern requirements and standards. Sleeping coaches have plasma TVs and air conditioning, and in the compartment coach a movable platform is fitted to transport wheelchairs. There is also extra space for people with limited mobility.

The second-class coaches have been fitted with comfortable new seats.
