OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2007.  Generation Company Four of the Wholesale Power Market (OGK-4) held public hearings on the draft of the Report on Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility of OGK-4 for 2006. The principles of the company’s business, the management’s vision of various social and environmental aspects of the power business are reflected in the document.

 Representatives of RAO UES of Russia, local authorities, public, including environmental, organizations – Greenpeace Russia, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Standard & Poor’s, fuel supplier companies (SUEK) became participants of the discussion of the OGK-4 non-financial reports. Representatives of the OGK-4 management – Roman Lenkov, Deputy Director General for Finance and Economy, Sergey Bakhmetov, Deputy Director General for Production, and Sergey Zhizhoma, Deputy Director General for Corporate Policy -  gave speeches on the implementation issues of the company’s investment program, environmental policy and interaction with interested parties of the company.

 During the public hearings, representatives of the interested parties gave some proposals related to the content of the report, which would be taken into account in its final version.
