Nearly 80% of the available tickets were sold. The train arrived in the Finnish capital at midday and departed on the return leg in the afternoon, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

The train’s upgraded rolling stock meets all modern requirements and standards. Sleeping coaches have plasma TVs and air conditioning, and in the compartment coach a movable platform is fitted to transport wheelchairs. There is also extra space for people with limited mobility.

The second-class coaches have been fitted with comfortable new seats.
