OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2007. On June 25, 2007 MDM Bank successfully signed the Dual Tranche USD 550 Million Syndicated Term Loan Facility. The facility was launched at an initial amount of USD 500 million and on account of good market response was closed at an oversubscription of USD 550 million. The total facility is divided between a one year tranche USD 307.50 million and three year tranche of USD 242.50 million. The borrowing would be used by MDM Banks for its trade financing activities.

Alpha Bank A. E., The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Fortis Bank SA/NV, ICICI Bank UK PLC, NATIXIS, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Цsterreich AG and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited, acted as the arrangers with The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., Fortis Bank SA/NV, NATIXIS, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited as the bookrunners.

This is a landmark transaction for MDM Bank as the borrowers’ largest ever and the first “Three year” market borrowing by MDM after its similar EBRD facility earlier in the years.”
