OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2007. Southern Telecommunications Company (“UTK”) [(RTS: KUBN, KUBNP; МICEX: UTEL, UTELP; ADR OTC: STJSY, KUE FRA)], the principal fixed-line telecommunications provider for Russia’s Southern Federal District, reported that on June 8, 2007 a meeting was held in Moscow between the management of the company and analysts from leading investment companies and banks, such as: Advanced Research, ING Bank (Eurasia), Antanta Capital, UBS Russia, Bank Societe Generale Vostok, Veles Capital, Bars Finance, Alemar, Rye, Man & Gor Securities and rating agency Standard & Poor’s, reported the press-centre of  UTK.

UTK CEO Alexander Andreev gave a presentation which showcased the RAS results of the company’s main activities in 2006 and Q1 2007, as well as its growth outlook.

The management of UTK gave detailed answers to all questions raised by analysts.  At the end of the meeting, equity research analysts affirmed their aspiration to hold other such events in the future.
