OREANDA-NEWS. On July 05, 2007 OJSC SITRONICS (LSE: SITR), the major East European high technology company incorporating Kvazar-Micro, one of the biggest system integrators of Ukraine, has announced that the Company President Evgeny Utkin had taken part in a meeting of Ukrainian President Viktor Yushenko with representatives of the big business of Ukraine, reported the press-centre of  OJSC SITRONICS.

Today’s meeting was dedicated to the upcoming tax reform and the draft Tax Code of Ukraine. In particular, the participants discussed the issues related to the observance of ownership rights and the proliferation of raider attacks in Ukraine.

This one was the third meeting of the President of Ukraine with representatives of the country’s biggest companies. By means of the dialog that such meetings provide the head of the state intends to enhance the efficiency of the economic reforms currently underway in Ukraine. Just to remind: the core issue discussed during the previous meeting in November 2006, in which Evgeny Utkin also took part, was Ukraine’s entry in WTO, building of a competitive environment in the national economy, and automation of industrial enterprises.

During the today’s meeting the President of SITRONICS spoke about modern energy-saving technologies and prospects for their implementation in Ukraine.

The meeting resulted in the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the authorities and big business.
