OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2007. The 2nd International Mini Football Tournament for the TVEL-Energoatom Cup took place in Neteshino (Ukraine). Four TVEL teams: Elemash (Elektrostal, Moscow region), Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrate Plant, Chepetsk Mechanical Plant (Glazov, Udmurtia) and Priargun Mining Chemical Combine (Krasnokamensk, Chita region) and four Energoatom teams: Rivno, Zaporizhia, South-Ukrainian and Khmelnitsky NPPs contended for the Cup. NCCP proved the best. CMP was the second, Rivno NPP – the third.

In his welcoming address to the players Vice President of TVEL Corporation Konstantin Sokolov said: “Last year, when we conducted this tournament for the first time, it proved to be a real holiday. So, we decided to make it a tradition.” Vice President of Energoatom Olga Kravets thanked TVEL for its enthusiasm and active support: “Such events contribute to the development of Ukrainian-Russian relations and to the establishment of mutual understanding and strong partnership between our companies.”

The tournament was crowned with a spectacular show: a friendly match between the veterans of Dynamo Kyiv and Torpedo Moscow. The Ukrainians won 3:0.
