OREANDA-NEWS. Ural Airlines board of management has approved the program for stepwise substitution of TU-154B aircrafts.

Three TU-154B aircrafts have been already decommissioned.

Eight TU-154B aircrafts remaining in the Ural Airlines air park will have been decommissioned by 2010.

New generation liners - medium-distance Airbus A320 family aircrafts supersede  TU-154B aircrafts.

Ural Airlines count on Airbus aircrafts, being different by low level of fuel consumption and harmful emissions, minimum noise level, high fuel efficiency (it is twice greater than Russian analogs), well-developed maintenance program, as well as a comfortable cabin and increased safety requirements.

Mastery of foreign technics is a significant strategic trend in the air company development which positive results are evident not only in the technical area, but in social regards as well.

So, operation of A320 aircrafts with effective fuel consumption resulted in a reconsideration of pricing and allowed to reduce significantly air ticket fares in various directions.  Ural Airlines is planning to continue this trend.
