OREANDA-NEWS. A. Kuzmin, FSUE Russian Post Acting Deputy Director General drew preliminary results on operational test of electronic document exchange technology implemented to perform delivery and payment of pensions. The statement was made within the framework of the Enlarged Conference of the Pension Fund Administrative Board held in Ulan-Ude, the Republic of Buryatia. The Pension Fund Board highly appreciated the results reached in the course of the test.

Currently, electronic document exchange system is tested in the post offices of Russian Post in the Bashkortostan Republic, the Republic of Buryatia, Udmurt and Chuvash Republic, Stavropol territory, Belgorod, Volgograd, Vologda, Kirov, Kurgan, Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Orel, Penza, Samara, Smolensk and Chita regions.

In the near future the system is planned to work in the regime of operation exploitation.

Russian Post realizes the project "Pension and other social allowances payment by the system of electronic document exchange" jointly with the Pension Fund of the RF. It aims at improving customer service quality.

Improvement of service culture (the receiving person is given a receipt with necessary information) and provision with detailed information on charges, payments and payment history of each customer in the shortest terms are among the advantages of new system.

Implementation of new technology will reduce paper document exchange volume and lower labor difficulty for pension delivery and payment.

Note:

In accordance with new technology territorial authorities of the Pension Fund and postal organizations exchange information on pension payments by secured communications channels and digital signature. Pension Fund department sends documents on pensions and allowances payment to the special information payment center of AFPS where the information is sorted and then sent to the sections of pension payment order. Orders contain main part and receipt that is given to the person who receives pension or allowance. The documents have individual bar codes that let operator sort information in fast and proper way.
