OREANDA-NEWS. On July 27, 2007 Raiffeisen Bank Aval named the most capitalized bank in Ukraine according to the rating "TOP-100. Best Companies of Ukraine", compiled by the Investgazeta and the Delo newspapers by results of 2006. It is reported by the Bank’s PR Department, reported the press-centre of Raiffeisen Bank Aval.  

At that, being ranked sixth in the rating, Raiffeisen Bank Aval is among ten best companies of Ukraine in terms of the last year capitalization volumes alongside with such companies as AncellorMittal Kryvy Rih (Mittal Steel), Ukrtelecom, Ukrnafta, Azovstal, Pivnichny Mining and Concentrating Plant and other. Raiffeisen Bank Aval also takes second place in terms of volumes of credits to corporate clients within the framework of the rating "Top-100. Best Companies of Ukraine": for five months 2007 the Bank’s loan portfolio to such clients has increased by 26,5%.

The results of the regular rating survey "TOP-100. Best Companies of Ukraine-2006" were announced on 25 July 2007. The rating of companies had been formed in terms of such indicators as net income, net profit, exports, imports and capitalization. The ratings are based on the data, received by polling of participating companies and collection of accessible data.

The founders of "TOP-100. Best Companies of Ukraine" are the publishing house "Economika" and the finance and economic weekly "Investgazeta". The national rating "TOP-100. Best Companies of Ukraine" was firstly published by the Investgazeta weekly in 1997.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval was more than once ranked among the best companies, recognized by the rating "TOP-100. Best Companies of Ukraine".
