OREANDA-NEWS. August 7, 2007. Arkhenergo, Vologdaenergo, and AEK Komienergo became the largest taxpayers.

The companies in the zone of responsibility of the North-West paid more than RUR 2 billion in taxes for the 1st half year of 2007 to the budgets of various levels. Tax payments of companies of IDGC of the North-West to the federal budget equalled more than RUR 1.6 billion.

The sum of more than RUR 320 million was paid to the budgets of the regions of North-West, in which the companies carry out their activity; payments to the local budgets equalled RUR 11.4 million.

All distribution grid companies of the North-West belong to the number of the largest tax payers in their regions. The largest tax payers in the zone of responsibility of IDGC of the North-West in the first half year of 2007 became Arkhenergo, Vologdaenergo, and AEK Komienergo.

Arkhenergo transferred RUR 553 million to the budgets of all levels. Tax deductions of AEK Komienergo equalled RUR 390 million; Komienergo paid RUR 532 million in taxes.
