OREANDA-NEWS. August 9, 2007. Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChTPZ, Chelyabinsk, Russia) (RTS: CHEP) and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ, Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, Russia) (RTS: PNTZ), both in the ChTPZ Group, shipped 1,138,200 tonnes of pipe products to customers for the period from January to July of 2007, an increase of 23% as compared to the same period of 2006 (925,600 tonnes).

In January-July of 2007, ChTPZ sold 632,100 tonnes of pipes, 25% more than for the same period of 2006 (505,500 tonnes). The company shipped 356,000 tonnes of large-diameter pipes, 35% more than for January-July 2006 (263,700 tonnes).

In July 2007, Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant shipped 93,100 tonnes of pipe products to customers, an increase of 2% as compared to July 2006 (91,100 tonnes). For this period the plant shipped 53,400 tonnes of large-diameter pipes, 15% more than for the same month a year ago (46,500 tonnes).

In July 2007 PNTZ shipped 74,100 tonnes of pipe products to customers, an increase of 1% as compared to July 2006 (73,100 tonnes). In January-July 2007 the plant shipped 506,100 tonnes of products, 20% more than for the same period of 2006 (420,100 tonnes).
