OREANDA-NEWS. Ecosan, international ecology and health organisation, jointly with Uzbekistan Railways sent a health train to Karakalpakstan, reported the Official website http://www.gov.uz.

The action has been organised in the framework of the state program Year of Social Protection.

The cargo included sanitary and hygiene products as well as consumer goods worth a total of UZS 50 million.

The goods will be distributed among the low-income and large families, disabled, pensioners, lonely elderly people and social objects.

This is the second health train sent to Karakalpakstan this year.

In all, Ecosan has sent similar trains to 10 regions of Uzbekistan this year, with humanitarian aid worth UZS 566 million.
