OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2007. Generation Company Four of the Wholesale Power Market (OGK-4) publishes the Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility Report for 2006. The prepared non-financial report of OGK-4 is the second one for the company’s existence. The company is going to continue the non-financial reporting practice in subsequent years.

The Report is based on the public position of OGK-4 reflecting the vision of the company as the subject of the socially responsible business and the principles OGK-4 focuses on when making strategic decisions. The Report contains the information on the key content of the Company Development Strategy, description of key non-financial risks, contributions of OGK-4 into the social and economic development of presence regions and personnel, and also highlights the company’s approach to the activities in the area of environmental protection and increase of the environmental safety of the production.

The Report includes plans and obligations of OGK-4 related to corporate social responsibility. Its content is determined in accordance with key directions of the company’s development, and subject to interests and wishes expressed by representatives of stakeholders during specialized events - dialogs with stakeholders. Representatives of regional and local authorities of the company’s presence regions, environmental and charitable public organizations, investment community, the principal shareholder of the company – RAO UES of Russia, and other parties took part in these events.

The OGK-4 Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility Report for 2006 is based on international non-financial reporting standards: GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (G3 Guidelines) and GRI Electric Utility Sector Supplement Draft. Engagement of stakeholders was based on the internationally accepted AA1000 stakeholder engagement standard.
