Obnosov took part in the work of the VIII International Air and Space Salon MAKS-2007 held in the city of Zhukovski (Moscow region) from 21 to 26 August 07, reported the press-centre of Tactical Missiles Corporation.

On 21 August, the official opening day of the exhibition, the Corporation’s stand was visited by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the delegation of the RF Government. Back in 2005 fourteen enterprises, then making part of the Corporation, for the first time exhibited their products at a common stand. MAKS-2007 provided an excellent opportunity to announce entry of five more enterprises into the Corporation, whose products were also on display.  The stand was equipped with plasma screens, on which promotion video and presentations were demonstrated.

The mock-ups and models of missile and bomb armaments were exhibited at the main stand as well as on open grounds and at a small-size stand at the Joint Aircraft-Building Corporation pavilion. Alongside with the already familiar weapon types there were some new products, i.e. Kh -31АD and Kh-38МE of the parent enterprise and Kh-59UShKE of GosMKB "Raduga".

The Corporation’s exposition traditionally kindled great interest of specialists, representatives of domestic and foreign armed forces. The official delegations of India, China, UAE, Venezuela, Algeria, etc. were received. On 22 August Director General Boris Obnosov met Russian and foreign journalists and answered their questions about the Corporation’s activities.

Starting from 24 August, MAKS-2007 was open to general public. More than 600 employees of the parent enterprise jumped at the opportunity to visit the exhibition and enjoy demonstration flights of the Russkie Vityazi, Strizhi and Patrouille de France aerobatic teams.
