OREANDA-NEWS. On August 30, 2007 to ensure the transportation of holidaymakers to the Black Sea coast of the North Caucasus and the Crimea and back, Russian Railways has set up additional trains, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

In August, more than 150 additional trains will complete more than 600 journeys, with 31 special children’s trains making 45 round trips.

More than 22,000 railway coaches are currently operating on Russia’s rail network to cope with the higher number of passengers, with 800 passenger coaches more in use compared to last year.
Russian Railways plans to continue running some of the additional trains to Southern Russia into September.
