OREANDA-NEWS. Based on the results of the audit of parking services in Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukova airports, jointly with the Moscow Regional Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (OFAS Russia), the "Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated cases against "BRK Invest Limited" CJSC, "Domodedovo Airhotel" CJSC and "Vnukovo-Invest" OJSC for breaching Article 10 of the Federal Law "ON Protection of Competition" (abusing dominant position), FAS' information portal reports.

The audit was carried out due to complaints from the general public regarding high rates for the airport parking as well as inability to leave the airport territory within the specified time limit.

Having examined the audit materials and analyzed the market for short-term vehicle parking services in the above airports, FAS Russia has found that "BRK Invest Limited" CJSC, "Domodedovo Airhotel" CJSC and "Vnukovo-Invest" OJSC offer services of short-term parking on the territory of the above airports and occupy dominant position on the market of the short-term parking services.

"BRK Invest Limited" CJSC, "Domodedovo Airhotel" CJSC and "Vnukovo-Invest" OJSC breached the antimonopoly legislation by introducing an hourly rate and the rule to charge payment for every incomplete hour as for a full hour, and for every incomplete day as for a full day.

Following the audit, FAS Russia made a decision to initiate cases against "BRK Invest Limited" CJSC, "Domodedovo Airhotel" CJSC and "Vnukovo-Invest" OJSC for breaching the antimonopoly legislation.
