OREANDA-NEWS. JCB “Promsvyazbank”, one of the leading Russian banks, announced its interim consolidated financial statements as of 30.06.2007, prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

According to the interim report, during the first half 2007, Promsvyazbank’s assets grew by 22.1% to RUR 220.4bln from RUR 180.5bln, compared to December 31st 2006.

The bank’s net profit for the period amounted to approximately RUR 1.8bln, and represented an increase of 63% compared to first half 2006.

During first half 2007, shareholders’ equity raised by 9.8% to RUR 20.2bln. Total capital, calculated in accordance with Basel Accord’s requirements reached RUR 27.2bln.

Promsvyazbank’s interim consolidated financial statements were reviewed by the audit company KPMG.
