OREANDA-NEWS. Mikhail Olshansky, Bank Electronika’s Executive Vice-President, participated in the work of a subcommission of the Russian-Chinese Commission for Preparation of Meetings of the Heads of State. The subcommission, responsible for issues of interbank cooperation between the countries, held its session at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Mr. Olshansky met with managers of the China Construction Bank Corporation within the framework of that subcommission session. As a result, the parties agreed to open reciprocal lines of credit to finance foreign trade.

Mikhail Olshansky, Executive Vice-President of Bank Electronika, remarked on outcomes of the session: “Expanding business relations with China is a strategic goal of the entire banking sector of Russia and one of Bank Electronika’s priorities in work with foreign financial institutes. Precisely for that reason, Bank Electronika opened a branch office in Irkutsk Oblast, close to China. Today the branch is actively involved in financing Russian-Chinese trade operations.”
