OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2007. Acting vice-premier of Russia Sergey Ivanov told that during the investment forum "Sochi-2007" 3 investment agreements for the overall amount of 1 bln. rub. on the development of the Ust-Luga port will be signed.

According to Ust-Luga's press-service, an investment contract between the Ust-Luga company and NOVATEK on the construction of a new terminal in the port has been already signed.

In particular, the contract includes the construction of the complex for handling and fractionation of stable gas condensate with a capacity of 6 mln. tons per year. The investments in the construction of the complex will total 9.6 bln. rub.

The contract was signed by the chairman of the board of directors of the Ust-Luga Company Valery Izrailit and the chairman of the board of NOVATEK Leonid Mikhelson in the presence of the governor of the Leningrad region Valery Serdukov and senior vice-president of RZD Fedor Andreev.
