OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2007. Corporation MIRAX GROUP has kicked off field works on reconstruction of the Fili-Davydkovo community. On September 14, it began to knock down the first of the four Khrushchev era apartment buildings to be demolished this month. In their place, a municipal residential complex with the total area of 100 thousand sq. m. is going to be built. At this time, a full-fledged complex redevelopment of the area begins after which it will become one of the most comfortable in the West of Moscow.

Reconstruction of the Fili-Davydkovo community located in the territory of a most ecologically pure Western administrative district of the capital is one of the most promising projects of the MIRAX GROUP corporation. The total area of redevelopment is 950 000 sq. m. The new community will be located in a park zone area of 46 hectares.

In November, three more 5-storey buildings will be taken down and in their place MIRAX is going to erect a commercial dwelling complex with a total area of 90 thousand sq. m. The demolition of 3 other Khrushchev era apartment buildings and the construction of the second municipal housing complex will kick off in the first quarter of 2008. The total area of the building is 100 thousand sq. m.

Following the completion of this stage, the tenants of 15 old buildings, which were located in the territory of the reconstructed community, are going to move to new municipal housing complexes. Thus, the capital city council’s project of the Fili-Davydkovo residents’ resettlement from their old five-storey buildings to the new ones will have been completed by the end of 2009.

After the demolition of the other 5-storey buildings in 2009, the construction of premium class residential complexes will begin in their place. Besides the apartment buildings, MIRAX GROUP is going to develop all the necessary infrastructure in the area: a kindergarten, a school, a sports and recreation center, etc.
