OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2007. The “Russian Power Industry Development: Generation, Grids, Market, Sale” fourth professional power industry forum was held in Moscow. ”Energorynok” magazine, under the auspices of “ATC” not-for-profit partnership, organized the forum.

The forum allows the participants and guests to discuss the modern power industry development at a professional level.

The representatives from the state authorities, leading power industry companies, consulting companies, IT-service market leaders suggested a wide range of issues on the existing situation in the industry for discussion, spoke about advanced techniques and new technologies in order to increase power company effectiveness.

The forum business program, which included lectures, seminars, panel discussions and plenary sessions, allowed to review the advanced and complex solutions in the power industry, align business contacts and share practices and achievements in a relevantly short time.

Pavel Obukhov, Deputy General Director for Strategic Management of JSC “IDGC of the Center” and Vadim Fedorov, Deputy General Director for Power Grid Services of JSC “IDGC of the Center” participated in the “Networksgroup session. Relevant topics were suggested to the participants: automation of the company budgeting process in IDGC-1 new configuration and perspectives in the customer service.

Pavel Obukhov spoke about functional principles of the SAP SEM BPS-based automated budgeting system in details. The actuality of the issue is related to the perspective to set up a Unified Operation Company in JSC “IDGC of the Center” and the DGCs of its service area by April1, 2008, which requires adopting solutions on planning automation and ERM-based recording. Pavel Obukhov said, that the SAP-based reliable, transparent for management and shareholders planned recording system is an innovation of the JSC “IDGC of the Center” unified operating company.

Vadim Fedorov characterized the main directions in customer service of JSC “IDGC of the Center”, as well as the perspectives of further cooperation “power company-customer” through the complex service system.
