OREANDA-NEWS. Rosatom hopes for positive outcome of the talks for incorporating Izhora Plants, the only Russian producer of shells for nuclear reactors, into Atomenergomash, the deputy head of Rosatom Andrey Malyshev told journalists, reported the press-centre of Rosatom.

Presently, Izhora Plants are part of OMZ (Ural-Izhora Group), which belongs to Gazprombank. Malyshev said that the owner may want more than the company can. “But still I think that the outcome of the talks will be positive,” he said.

Earlier, the head of Rosatom Sergey Kiriyenko said that he was also sure of Izhora Plants’ incorporation into Atomenergomash, a Rosatom company set up for ensuring complex designing, supply, installation and maintenance of equipment for NPPs.
