OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2007. Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChTPZ, Chelyabinsk, Russia) (RTS: CHEP) and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ, Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, Russia) (RTS: PNTZ), both in the ChTPZ Group, shipped 1,471,000 tonnes of pipe products to customers for the period from January to September of 2007, an increase of 15% as compared to the same period of 2006 (1,280 thousand tonnes).

In January-September of 2007, ChTPZ sold 803,800 tonnes of pipes, 13% more than for the same period of 2006 (708,800 tonnes). The company shipped 444 thousand tonnes of large-diameter pipes, 21% more than for January-September of 2006 (367,600 tonnes).

In September 2007, Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant shipped 86,200 tonnes of pipe products to customers, a decrease of 11% as compared to September 2006 (97,200 tonnes). For this period the plant shipped 42,700 tonnes of large-diameter pipes, 16% less than for the same month a year ago (50,700 tonnes).

In September 2007 PNTZ shipped 76 thousand tonnes of pipe products to customers, an increase of 5% as compared to September 2006 (72,100 tonnes). In January-September of 2007 the plant shipped 667,500 tonnes of products, 17% more than for the same period of 2006 (571 thousand tonnes).
