OREANDA-NEWS. October 24, 2007. The World Bank intends to invest circa 1 bn USD into Ukraine's economy, annually. This was disclosed by Senior Economic Advisor of the World Bank Departments in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus Martin Reiser, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

According to him, the investment is predetermined by a cooperation strategy between the World Bank and Ukraine in 2008 to 2011.

The World Bank intends to focus on crediting projects of improvement of entities and state finance systems in Ukraine.

Economy Minister Anatoliy Kinakh told journalists that a strategy of cooperation between Ukraine and World Bank will be passed by 2007's close.
