OREANDA-NEWS. Minpromenergo (Ministry of Industry and Energy) insists on increase of investments into geological surveying over Gazprom's investment program, reported Veles Capital investment company with reference to the head of ministry's oil & gas department Vladimir Kuznetsov. According to him, current rate of geological surveying sustained by the company is not satisfactory for Minpromenergo. He said that de facto extraction is conducted off 19 deposits. He added that Minpromenergo would like to see much higher investments into geological surveying and this objective is already set before Gazprom. Investment plan of Gazprom is being confirmed each year and this year we are most likely to witness yet another extension of it. Being the company's main shareholder, the state supervises its development through Minpromenergo.
