OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2007. Bank Electronika has taken one more important step in perfecting its system of corporate governance – raising the number of deputy chairmen of the Management Board from two to three.

The Bank named Natalya Maksimyuk as its new Deputy Chairman. Ms. Maksimyuk had served as Chief Financial Officer at Bank Electronika. As Deputy Chairmen of the Management Board for Finance, Ms. Maksimyuk will coordinate the Department for Strategic Planning and Economic Analysis, the Finance Department, the Administration of Offices and Grounds, the Human Resources Department, Clerical Services, the Secretariat, and the Archives.

Natalya Maksimyuk has worked at Bank Electronika since May 2002. From 2002 until her recent appointment, she served as head of the Office of Accounting for Financial Operations, Deputy Chief Accountant, and Chief Accountant – now Chief Financial Officer.
Under Ms. Maksimyuk’s leadership, the Bank framed and refined its own method of accounting, corresponding to international standards and recommendations from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. This method has contributed to the greater transparency and effectiveness of the financial institution. Moreover, it has thrust Bank Electronika into a leadership position as Russian banks prepare for the transition to internationally accepted International Financial Reporting Standards.

Ms. Maksimyuk graduated from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics with a degree in economics in 1989. She has worked in the banking sphere for thirteen years, since 1994.
