OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC EuroChem MCC on October 26 presented a summary of its consolidated results for the first six months of 2007 (according to International Financial Reporting Standards), the company's press service announced.

The main indicative data highlights published are as follows:

- Net sales - 32,454 million rubles (23% increase over the same period in 2006);

- EBITDA - 10,204 million rubles (43% increase over the same period in 2006);

- Net profit - million rubles (173% increase over the same period in 2006).

The company's strong financial performance in this period has been based on favourable market conditions both domestically and internationally, which have offset tariff increases for natural gas and power. Also in February of this period, rating agencies Fitch and Standard&Poor's assigned OJSC EuroChem MCC a credit rating of ВВ-, and in March the company successfully undertook a Eurobond offering, raising a total amount of US$300 million.
