OREANDA-NEWS. On October 25, 2007 Nikolay Nesterenko has been appointed to the position of the Director, New Business Development for System Capital Management. He will be responsible for defining development strategy for SCM’s businesses in the sectors of real estate, engineering and transport as well as for identification of new areas for the Group’s investment activity, reported the press-centre of SCM.

“SCM’s strategy aims at building a strong and diversified business: we continue development of our industrial holdings but at the same time we actively invest in our businesses in the service areas – telecommunications, financial business and media”, Oleg Popov the General Director for SCM said. He also added: “At the same time we continuously search for new investment opportunities. In the near future we are planning to give special attention to it. This is the reason why the position of the Director, New Business Development was introduced. Nikolay Nesterenko will be responsible for designating development strategy for the new areas of SCM business, primarily – in the real estate sector”.

Nikolay Nesterenko has worked for SCM since 2001 and before taking the office of the Director, New Business Development he was in charge of SCM’s foreign assets administration and some other businesses of SCM Group.

Born in 1976, Nikolay Nesterenko graduated from Donetsk State University, Accounting and Finance Department. Nikolay is taking an MBA course in INSEAD Business School (France) which ranks among the best business-schools of Europe.

Nikolay Nesterenko has worked for SCM since 2001: first as the Head of the Finance Control department and then from July 2002 as a Senior Manager. Before that Nikolay worked for Keramet Investment Company – first as a trader, then as a senior trader, and ultimately, in 2000, as a company General Director.
