OREANDA-NEWS. CJSC Engels Pipe Plant (Engels, Saratov region, part of metallurgical holding of ESTAR Group) has successfully passed the first supervisory audit of the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system introduced in 2006, says the press service of the ESTAR Group.

Inspectors of Intersertifica-TUV  in partnership with TUV Turinge (representative of the German company TUV CERT in Russia) confirmed the compliance of the QMS at the enterprise to the highest international standards.

"The quality control policy implemented by the team of Engels Pipe Plant has enabled it not only to confirm compliance with the international standards of ISO 9001:2000 but to start introducing the environmental management system in compliance with ISO 14001:2004 standards", - says the press release.

In January-September of the current year the plant increased the output of finished products by 19.8% year-on-year – up to 47,712 t of round and shaped tubes, according to the press release.
