OREANDA-NEWS. Within the framework of the Exhibition InfoCom – 2007 the participants of Russian-Chinese IT Forum discussed a wide range of cooperation between Russian and Chinese parties in postal sphere. Deputy Minister for Information Technologies and Communications of the RF Boris Antonyuk noted that the cooperation helps to develop the services and increase sales volume.

As commented Pavel Egorov, FSUE Russian Post, Head of Bilateral Relations Department currently commercial relations between Russian and Chinese Post trace more active development than with some countries of CIS that is determined by great perspectives of the projects launched.

Bilateral relations development of the last several years helped to sign some documents aiming to developing postal and financial services. This summer fixed implementation of the service on electronic money order exchange between Russia and China. It should be mentioned that China is the first far-abroad country that exchanges electronic money orders with Russia. As noted Pavel Egorov, the service’s positive dynamics could be seen several months after it has been implemented. Post also arranged the places of international postal exchange in transfrontier settlements to reduce mail delivery time sent between different countries.

The representatives of the Ministry of Information Industry of People’s Republic of China supported Russian colleagues and noted the Forum set the platform for further exchange and cooperation of Russian and Chinese industries in the sphere of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
