OREANDA-NEWS. Since the middle of October, the Group of Companies Siberian Agrarian Holding (SAHO) on initiative of the Novosibirsk region  Administration started delivering bread and bakery products under the trade mark “Khlebnitsa“ to 14 daily food fairs, SAHO's press service reported.

Novosibirsk citizens can buy essential products and foodstuff at prices lower than market ones. SAHO is the only bread producer in Novosibirsk who did not consider yet the rising prices for 'social bread' after a substantial increase in prices for grain and flour in summer. SAHO vertically integrated structure including  mass production and grain reprocessing makes it possible to keep up prices as compared to competitors. “Till  recently, SAHO bread-baking plants used grain of the last year crop,”Bakin Andrey, First  Deputy Director of Board of Directors, Deputy of Novosibirsk Regional Council, says. "This autumn the grain  croppage in our farms has reached 100 thousand tones. It is quite enough for bread-baking plants not to depend  on instability in prices for raw materials till the next crop," he added.

From October 11, the products under “Khlebnitsa” trade mark could be bought at all Novosibirsk daily food fairs  initiated by Victor Tolokonsky, Novosibirsk Governor. According to the vice-governor, by selling our products at the  fairs we can compete with trade enterprises which “often raise prices unreasonably”. “The authority can not stay  aside, this issue is under the Governor’s special control,” the vice-governor said at the regional  headquarters session regulating the issue of a hike in the prices.

At present, the  volume of “Khlebnitsa” products at Novosibirsk market is not as large as in Omsk, for example, (SAHO  keeps 50 % of the market there), but prices for bread are still kept the lowest in the Siberian Federal okrug.  However, as Andrey Bakin said, holding is ready to increase production capacities to deliver more than 50 tones  of bakery goods to the market of the Siberian capital. “We support regional management initiative on the possibility to buy inexpensive essential products,” Andrey Bakin said. — "It is quite probable that close interaction  between SAHO and regional and city administration in bread deliveries to the fairs will become the basis for the implementation of the program preventing in future the rise in bread prices," Andrey Bakin hopes.
