OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2007. CJSC Transmashholding shipped 10 Rusich metro cars designated 81-740/741 and manufactured by JSC Metrowagonmash to the Moscow metro in October, 2007.  Another 32 cars of the model will be shipped by the end of the year.

The shipments are performed under the contract for delivery of 137 Rusich cars concluded on December 1, 2005.

One of the latest shipments under the contract was performed on October 24, 2007 and comprised 2 head and three intermediate cars.

A total of 105 cars designated 81-740/741 are put into exploitation by the Moscow metro.

It is noteworthy that the new-generation Rusich cars launched into production in 2003 integrate state-of-the-art technologies of the Russian rolling stock building.

The Rusich cars are under exploitation not only in the largest Russian metro in Moscow, but also abroad, in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia.
